About Kupalinka

Visiting card. Kupalinka is one of the largest enterprises of Bellegprom Concern engaged in manufacturing of underwear and outer knitwear for both adults and children. History of the enterprise dates back for over 40 years. On April 29, 1968 first products were manufactured, the factory occupied a small building, with only 12 seamstresses employed in the sewing shop. There are more than 1200 persons working in Kupalinka today.

From 3.5 to 4 tons of knit fabric are manufactured by the factory every day, more than 20 tons of the most diverse knitted goods come off the conveyor.

In 2009 the sales volume totaled to 5.99 million pieces of goods for the amount of more than 17.0 million dollars.

The export volume amounted to 5.161 million dollars in 2009.

The Kupalinka products are successfully sold not only in Belarus, but also in Russian Federation, Moldova, Ukraine. The enterprise works in the regions of Russia using wholesale stores in the city of Moscow.

Equipment. Kupalinka has a strong technical and creative potential. Manufacturing process is mechanized and automated.

A rich wealth of state-of-the-art equipment from leading foreign firms is available at the enterprise. These are single knit machines of the 24 grade SYX-3 model produced by Jymberca, 24 grade  FX –JS/72 model machines produced by Monarch Knitting Machinery. New 24 and 28 grade equipment from Mayer&Cie (Germany), which is installed in the knitting shop, makes it possible to produce a new range of light stockinette cloths.

There are modern dyeing jet machines such as Soft-stream and MCS, a new dyeing machine Luft-roto-plus supplied with aerodynamic dyeing effect installed in the dyeing and finishing shop. Utilization of finishing line Santex facilitates production of a high-quality cloth. Stenter-drying-stabilizing machines Elitex and Bruckner are used for drying and stabilization of knit fabric. 

Sewing equipment stock is continuously upgraded and expanded with machines produced by Rimoldi (Italy), Yamato (Japan), Pfaff (Germany), Juki (Japan). A high-performance cutting and cloth-laying system Gerber was acquired by the enterprise for cloth-laying and cutting.

Competence. Kupalinka is the trade mark of a domestic manufacturer who knows needs of contemporary customers, updated the product line regularly, monitors the market and marketing studies. The fact of no small importance is that the Kupalinka models are designed in conformity with requirements of State Standards GOSTs, made of ecologically clean materials, and the triple quality control is implemented at the production site.

As a manufacturer, Kupalinka aims at maximum utilization of its competitive advantages: fixed prices in roubles, ideal combination of price and quality, stable stock reserves of the goods, prompt informing on all new products in the collection, flexible and immediate reaction to changes in the market situation. Products may be released in small lots with additions made in the product line on monthly basis. Partners are given the possibility to plan and form their business together with the Company.

Service. The Company is characterized by its flexibility and uses state-of-the-art technologies of business. The Company’s attitude towards its partners is built a on a case-by-case basis, different terms of work are offered depending on the situation and the Company’s strategy in each particular region. The Company guarantees fixed prices in roubles, the goods are dispatched using a method, which is convenient to the customer, shop equipment and advertising materials (colourful posters, wrappages, labels, catalogues) are provided.

Achievements.  The Kupalinka production is repeatedly noted by multiple diplomas and awards: in 2007 the Company became the winner of competitions “the Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus”, “the Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus at the Market of the Russian Federation”. In a coin box of awards of the Company (in 2007-2008) there are two silver medals of the competition “Brand of the Year” and “Gold International Certificate of Quality”.
